Mass of Profession to the Secular Franciscan Order
featuring the combined choirs of Queen of Peace Parish and St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Brad Todorovich of Qeen of Peace will conduct and Kevin Vaughn of St. Vincent's will be the organist. This important milestone in the life of the local Franciscan community is Saturday, 14 May, at 11:00am at the St. Francis Convent, Dragoon Trail, Mishawaka, just across from Marian High School. All are welcome!
Eastertide Evensong
Once again area singers will assemble at The Episcopal Church of St. John the Evangelist, Lexington Avenue, Elkhart, to sing Evensong on the Fourth Sunday of Easter. Justin Appel, St. John's Director of Music, will conduct and Kevin Vaughn of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be the organist. The liturgy will include the Evening Service in C minor by George Dyson, the anthem If ye love me by Thomas Tallis, organ music by Howells and Mathias, psalmody, and familiar Eastertide hymns. All are welcome; Evensong begins at 5:00pm.
